Local orthodontist celebrates 10,000 patients!

This week, one local dentist reached a major milestone in the orthodontic field. Dr. Lee Romine attached a full set of braces to his 10,000th patient. Now, that’s a lot of metal (and a lot of smiles)!

Young Addi Moore, daughter of Kasie and Lance Moore, was the lucky 10,000th patient of Dr. Romine Monday, Aug. 10, and on that day she also kicked off her first day of fourth grade at Magnolia Bend Academy in Red River Parish. Her mother, Kasie said the dental office made the experience so fun and that they treated Addi like a celebrity. The office prepared a gift basket filled to the brim with goodies on Monday for Addi and they all enjoyed a cake.

Dr. Romine, after graduating with his DDS degree from LSU Dental School in 1979, achieved his MSD and certificate in orthodontics in 1981. Dr. Romine has seen many changes to the style and technological aspects in his 40 years of practice. When not in the office, he enjoys auto racing and other community events. He is married to Rindy, who manages the office, and together they have four children.
