The Service League of Natchitoches continued their tradition of installing officers Monday, Aug. 17 at the Prud’homme-Rouquier House. Members met
The mission of the Service League is to foster the potential of women though volunteer service and support of cultural, historical, educational and charitable endeavors. Members also provide support cookbook sales, the Prud’homme-Rouquier House, fundraising efforts and other supporting League activities.
Danielle Cobb will serve as the chief volunteer officer of the League as its President; Christina Johnson is President-Elect; Kellie Cedars is the Vice President of Treasury and Fund Development; Angela Bolton will serve as Vice President of Marketing and House; Karen Loach is the Secretary; Kathy Richmond will serve as Treasury Chairwoman; Alex Crowell is Correspondence Secretary; Jessica Nash is Fund Development Chairwoman; Randee Knapp is Marketing Chairwoman; Laura Rogers is the House Chairwoman; Karen Lee is Service Coordinator; Hillary Bennett is the Past President of the League; and Brenda Rinehart is the Sustainer Representative.
After the installation of board members for 2020-21 Service League year, 2019-20 service awards were given to a select few members. Sustaining members are Tamela Aldredge, Cori Beth Manuel, Connie Scruggs, Katie Cooper, Millicint HoffPauir and Crystan Stewart.
Provisional of the Year is Holly Methvin; Active Member of the Year is Cherish Clark; Sustainer of the Year is Brenda Rinehart; and Husband of the Year, a new award for the League, went to Josh Johnson, husband of member Christina Johnson.
The Prud’homme-Rouquier House, which the Service League owns and maintains, also has a new sign located in the front yard, which was placed the evening of the installation of officers.
