Car Show set for Oct. 2-3


The Historic District Business Association will host the 14th Annual Natchitoches Car Show scheduled for Oct. 2-3.

The Natchitoches Car Show started in 2007 with 88 cars and by 2011 the number had increased to 325. Since then, the car count has reached over 400. Expectations are high as the 2020 show approaches. The Natchitoches Car Show was named a Top 20 Festival and Event by the Southeast Tourism Society for 2020.

Registration will be at the Fountain of Life Pentecostal Church from noon-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2. A fish fry and live music will be on the Riverbank at 5:30 p.m. for participants. Registration will continue from 7-11 a.m. at the same location Saturday, Oct 3. The show will take place Downtown from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

The show will encompass the Downtown Riverbank, Front Street and Second Street. Live music will be provided from three stages throughout the show area. HDBA strongly encourages participants and spectators to practice safe social distancing and wear masks.
