Aug. 3

State vs Cody Strahan, possession of sch. II. The defendant is sentenced to serve three years with the louisiana department of corrections, that sentence is suspended. The defendant is placed on three (3) years supervised probation through the 10th jdc drug court. Ordered to pay $930 in fees and costs, $25 per month drug screen fee and $26 monthly supervision fee. All ancillary charges are dismissed.

Aug. 6

State vs. Charles D. Ashley Jr., issuing worthless checks. Defendant paid in full the worthless checks and all costs. Charges dismissed.

Aug. 10

State vs Matthew Steven Brooks, Possession of sch. I, no driver’s license, simple possession of marijuana. Defendant enrolled in and completed the DA’s Pre-Trial Intervention program. Charges dismissed.

Aug. 11

State vs Chad Edwards, domestic abuse battery child endangerment. Defendant completed Conflict Resolution Course. Charges dismissed.

Aug. 13

State vs Nathan D. Davis, simple criminal damage to property – guilty plea. Attempted second-degree murder – dismissed. Sentenced defendant to serve 12 months with DOC with credit for time served. Ordered to pay $2,136.50 in fines and costs, $60 monthly supervision fee and $10 monthly to SOT fund. Placed on two years supervised probation. Defendant agreed to forfeit the two weapons that were seized.

State vs Ronnie White Hardison, resisting an officer, resisting arrest – guilty plea. Obstruction of justice, curfew violation – dismissed.  Count 1: Defendant to serve 60 days in the parish jail. Count 2: Defendant to serve 60 days in the parish jail. Credit for time served. Sentences to run concurrent.

Sept. 3

BRUMFIELD, Steven L., 15 days in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, 1 day for improper lane usage. Credit for time served. Possession of sch. II dismissed. PAIGE, Travis Deon, possession of sch. II, sentenced to serve 15 days in the parish jail, suspended; placed on 30 days supervised probation. Ordered to pay $1,236.50 in fines and costs.

Sept. 10

DILLION, Reco, fire raising in a correctional facility, pled guilty.

BASS, Frankie D., reckless operation, ordered to serve 6 months in the parish jail, 6 months sentence suspended and defendant was placed on 6 months supervised probation. Ordered to pay $926.50 in fines and costs plus $25 monthly probation fee.  Under count 2, the court sentenced defendant to serve 30 days in the parish jail, all but 2 days suspended. Placed on 6 months supervised probation and given credit for time served. Ordered to pay $726.50 in fines and costs. On count 3, sentenced to pay a fine and costs of $641.50. On count 4, sentenced to pay $641.50 fines and fees.
