On Friday, Sept. 11 Gov. John Bel Edwards signed a proclamation that moved Louisiana into Phase 3 of the reopening plan. With that being said, contact sports andactivities were allowed to resume in Natchitoches Parish for the 2020-2021 school year.
Lakeview Jr./Senior High School released their football schedule for the fall on Sept. 18. Lakeview was scheduled to play against the Avoyelles Mustangs on Friday, Oct. 16, however, due to circumstances surrounding Covid-19 with the opposing team, the game has been cancelled.
Lakeview will resume their schedule when they play against the Many Tigers on Oct. 23.
