A memorial gathering for Eric Spillman was Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m., at Kevin Dunn’s home, located at 1119 LA HWY 491, Cloutierville, LA 71416.
Eric, 53 years of age passed away Nov. 1, 2020. He was born June 28, 1967, to Johnny and Dinkey Sue Spillman in Natchitoches. He was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his son, Ethan Spillman and his daughter, Brielle; two step children, Preston Wilson and Misty Martin; his father, Johnny Spillman; a sister, Shona Spillman and her children, Ruark Brossett and Brannon Kaiser; as well as numerous friends.
Eric loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was a very hard-worker and was a master painter with the LA DOTD. He possessed a kind heart and would do for others, even complete strangers, even if it meant sacrificing his own needs. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.
