Project Celebration Inc., (PCI) in Many will sponsor a drive to benefit the Taylor House DV Shelter, the Family Resource Center and the Children’s Advocacy Center. Donations will be shared between the programs to ensure all needs are meet. Donations can be dropped off at 580 West Main St., in Many. Since PCI is a nonprofit organization, all donations are tax deductible.
Drop off dates will be:
Monday, Nov. 30, 9 a.m. -3 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 10, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 15, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., the last day donations will be accepted.
Call (318) 256-6242 and someone will meet you outside to take your donation if you can’t make it on the designated dates.
Donations should be unwrapped to ensure they to the appropriate age group.
Items needed include: toys for all ages and both genders, nonperishable foods, gift cards, bottled water, diapers, wipes, baby food, children’s books, shampoo, conditioner, body wash (no bar soap) deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, lotion, feminine hygiene products, trash bags (13 gallon), paper towels, wash cloths, kitchen towels, twin sheets, pillowcases, pillows, Germ-X, Lysol, laundry detergent, household cleaning products and dish washing liquid.
