The Natchitoches Young Professionals (NYP) have organized a blood drive with LifeShare Blood Center for Monday, Dec. 21. Donors can stop by the Natchitoches Events Center at 750 Second Street between the hours of 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Donors have the option of scheduling a time to donate at NatchitochesChamber.com/BloodDrive.
“Earlier this year, LifeShare issued an emergency appeal for blood donors due to a low blood supply. They stated that the number of young donors had decreased dramatically since the start of the pandemic,” said NYP chairperson Maggie Matuschka. “NYP wants to help fulfill this important need by inviting all of our area young professionals to participate in this blood drive.”
