Lakeview Junior and Senior High School under quarantine for COVID-19

618

Today (Dec. 9), Natchitoches Parish Schools became aware of a small number of positive COVID-19 cases at Lakeview Junior and Senior High School. Due to close contacts, these cases have resulted in a large number of staff and students being quarantined. Because of the large number of quarantines, Lakeview Jr./Senior High School will revert back to remote/virtual learning starting Dec. 10 and going until Dec. 18.

Lakeview will be closed with no staff or students reporting to school. Those students and teachers who are officially quarantined, due to close contact of a positive case, will be informed but it is important to note that not everyone at Lakeview is under quarantine guidelines.

D&D Construction

Staff will work from home and information for students will be distributed today and tomorrow regarding their virtual/remote schedule over the next seven days. Students and teachers will report back to school Monday, January 4th after the Christmas holiday.

The Natchitoches Parish School Board (NPSB) will be updating the public regularly concerning cases of Covid-19 in Natchitoches Parish on their website and social media.
