Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cartwright of Enon Valley, Pa., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, BreannaMarie Hope Cartwright to Christopher Lee Berry, formerly of Natchitoches. The couple will wed on Feb. 12, 2021, in New Castle, Pa.
The bride-elect is a 2014 graduate of Hubbard High School in Hubbard, Ohio and graduated from Youngstown State University in 2019. She is employed as a registered nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, St. Margaret’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. She also plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to study for her doctorate. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Deborah Mcmurray-Slaven and the late Rick Slaven of Struthers, Ohio.
A native of Natchitoches, the groom-elect is the son of Susan St. Andre Yocum, also of Natchitoches, and Ricky B. Berry of Alexandria. He is the grandson of Mrs. Wanda Valentine St. Andre and the late Billy Lee St. Andre of Natchitoches, and the late Nelva and Lester Berry of Robeline. Chris is further descended from the late Eura and Silas St. Andre of Natchitoches, and the late Mae and J. D. Valentine of Alexandria.
A 2008 graduate of St. Mary’s High School, he also attended Northwestern State University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is presently attending New Castle School of Trades and is employed by Fed-Ex.
