Natchitoches Police arrest individual for Armed Robbery in Carter’s Trailer Park

On Dec. 18, NPD officers were notified of an armed robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon.  The victim told officers that while he was in Carter’s Trailer Park he was approached by Atravius Deans, b/m, 19, of Natchitoches and robbed at gunpoint.

On Dec. 19 around 12:35 a.m., officers were dispatched to Reba Street in reference to gunshots in the area.  As officers arrived they were given the same description as the vehicle from the armed robbery the previous day.  Officers located the vehicle parked off Lakeview Drive and made contact with Deans who was arrested without incident.

Deans is charged with Armed Robbery, Armed Robbery with the Use of a Firearm and two Failure to Appear Bench Warrants.  He has been placed in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center where he is awaiting bond.
