In partnership with Healthy Blue Louisiana and CVS Pharmacy, the Natchitoches Parish Library (NPL) will be hosting a drive-thru flu shot clinic Thursday, Jan. 28 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Immunizations will be available in the NPL parking lot at 450 Second St. An immunizing pharmacist will be on the premises to administer this year’s flu vaccine at no cost with most insurance. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID or driver’s license, along with proof of insurance, to receive the vaccine.
The flu affects millions of people throughout the United States each year. Flu symptoms overlap with those of COVID-19; and you can contract both at the same time. Before receiving your vaccination, you will be required to submit a universal consent form.
