JT got a chuckle out of this taxpayer’s dealings with the IRS and thought you might too… The IRS just returned my tax return to me for this year after I apparently answered one of their questions incorrectly.
In response to the question, “Do you have any dependents? I wrote 9.5 million illegal immigrants, 1.1 million crack heads, 3.4 million unemployed scroungers, 80,000 criminals in over 85 prisons plus 650 idiots in Washington.
The IRS stated the answer I gave was “Unacceptable!”
I then wrote back, “Who did I leave out???”

It’s always interesting how people will distance themselves from situations. Such was the case of the Bossier City man arrested in Jena for his involvement in the US Capitol breach. He is currently being detained in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center. He apparently was staying with a female in a mobile home park in Jena when federal agents arrested him.
The story made the statement, “Other than the female, it is believed he had no other connections to anyone in LaSalle Parish.” There was no explanation as to why he was placed in our Detention Center. Maybe we had the available space. And the $95 a day to house a federally charged person was a nice bonus.

JT was reminded January is the month for murder. No we’re not talking about in Shreveport…we’re taking about pruning time. Specifically, it’s the crepe myrtle. It seems to be ritual that doesn’t enhance the blooming process one iota.
JT noticed some had already created ugly, knobby looking trees. Since this ritual doesn’t serve any useful purpose, JT suggests you save that wasted hour or so by taking a walk or even visiting the library. You’ll feel just as good when you’re done.
