The Saint Mary’s powerlifting team has been hoisting more than just weights. The team recently competed in the Leesville Invitational meet and had four members lifting medals to their necks as they had podium finishes.
The Tigers took sixth place overall among 15 teams. From a field of 160 competitors, the following Tiger lifters placed in their respective weight classes. Camden Litton- 2nd Gunner Nash-3rd Logan Watson-4th place Ian Gardner-5th place Kolton Norsworthy-3rd place Jace Miley-3rd place Mason Mathis-6th place CJ Smith-6th place With these results, Coach Aaron York thinks his lifters could make some noise at the State Meet in early March.
