The Natchitoches Central Chiefs powerlifting team placed third overall at Central Regionals last weekend. Individual winners in their weight classes include James Jackson, second place; Colin Moran, second; and Dillan Young, third. Many lifters placed fourth-seventh. The Lady Chiefs also reigned at Central Regionals three taking the top level on the podium and one in third place.
They are, Sharissa Johnson, first and Best Lifter award; Kara Pullig, first; Mackenzie Johnson, first; and Jayda White, third.
They also had several in the fourth-sixth positions. Those lifters could move up and compete at state if anyone drops out in their weight class.
