The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested a juvenile for Attempted Second-Degree Murder and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property for a shooting that occurred earlier in the week.
On March 24, around 8:10 p.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department responded to the 600 block of Sabine Street in reference to a disturbance in the area. Upon arrival, they located two individuals who said while they were traveling on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive near Texas Street, two juveniles began to shoot at their vehicle.
On March 26, NPD arrested one of the juveniles for Attempted Second-Degree Murder and Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property and the juvenile was placed in the Ware Youth Center in Red River Parish.
