Kary-Katharine Gail McCormick and Colton Christian McDonald were united in holy matrimony Saturday, Aug. 29 at half past six o’clock in the evening at the beautiful Juliette Plantation in Boyce. The ceremony was officiated by Bro. Eugene Heimbach.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bradford McCormick of Natchitoches and the granddaughter of the late Charles Grady Simmons Sr. of Grenada, Mississippi, and Shirley Simmons of Natchitoches, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gaston McCormick of Grenada.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Noel McDonald of Natchitoches and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Don McDonald of Converse, and the late Lonnie Neal and Frances Tucker of Minden.

Lacy Carraway served at the Matron of Honor and the bridesmaids were Julia Richardson, Grady Casey, Lee Anna Ebarb, Kayla McDonald and Hannah McLemore.

Jerad Mitchell served at the Best Man and the groomsmen were Ryan McDonald, Austin Alexander, Brandon Outlaw, James Winn and Josh Mitchell.

The flower girls were Laurel Carmichael and Blakely Poole, and the ring bearer was Oliver Carmichael. The ushers were Connor Carraway and Dustin Grammer. The program attendant was Tinsley Richardson. The Metamorphosis Quartet also performed before and during the ceremony.

Kary-Katharine is a 2012 graduate of Kirk Academy in Grenada. She attended Mississippi State University, Holmes Community College where she elected class favorite and student body homecoming maid, Delta State University where she was selected as a diamond girl for the Delta State Baseball Team and a Tri Delta Sorority member, and graduated from Northwestern State University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences. She is currently a mammographer/radiologic technologist at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center.

Colton is a 2010 Natchitoches Central High School Graduate and a 2012 graduate of Bossier Parish Community College, where he graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Oil and Gas Production Technology. He currently works as an offshore operator for Shell.

The ceremony was also directed by Cori Ragan. Since being wed, the couple has resided here in Natchitoches.
