Four Gators and Coach Brian Williams got All-District nods following their exhilarating basketball season that ended with the Gators as 2A State quarter finalists.
Javonte Howard, a junior, was a unanimous first team selection and was named Co-MVP. Howard was the leading scorer for the Gators all year. In District, he averaged 16 points per game (2nd), 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2 saves per game.
Sophomore Dillon Pikes, freshman Andre Sowell and senior Mike Shields all were named Honorable Mention.
Sowell, who had an incredible freshman season, was also named to the Defensive Team.
Head Coach Brian Williams was named Coach of the Year, his third in six years at Lakeview.
