St. Mary’s is on a roll. They handily defeated Winnfield 13-2 Thursday, April 8. The home Tigers got things moving in the first, when an error scored one run.
The scored five in the fifth. Payne Williams, Patrick Vienne, Graeme Fidelak and Ben Bienvenu each has RBIs. Ethan Busby was merciless on the mound striking out four. He only surrendered two runs on six hits over five innings.
The Tigers had 10 hits in the match up. Fidelak, Mixon Bankston and Williams each had multiple hits. Williams, Bankston and Fidelak each had two hits to lead the team.
Fidelak led with three stolen bases. The team dominated the base paths with 10 stolen bases.
