Funeral services for Marvin Louis Freeman will be at 2 p.m, Wednesday, April 21 at Apostolic Truth Tabernacle in Robeline. Burial will follow at Lambertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Wednesday.
Marvin Louis Freeman, 58, was born July 9, 1962, to the Rev. Charles H. Freeman and Jean G. Freeman. He passed away April 18, 2021.
Marvin was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He had 33 wonderful years with his wife, Ellen, before her passing. He was a faithful provider who worked as a logger for many years. He loved to be outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Elouise “Scooter” Freeman; father, the Rev. Charles H. Freeman; brothers, Charles R. Freeman, Gary W. Freeman and Hershell L. Freeman; sister, Joy A. Johns; and granddaughter, Mya M. Freeman.
He is survived by his sons, Marvin Louis Freeman II and wife Jennifer of Ft. Jesup, Jonathan Noble Freeman and wife Amanda of Zwolle and Anthony Wayne Freeman and wife Courtney of Robeline; mother, Jean G. Freeman of Lake End; sister, Nelda J. Putek of Lake End; grandchildren, Savannah Freeman, Destiny Freeman, Jonathan Freeman II, Marvin Louis Freeman III, Justin Freeman, Ella Freeman, Anthony J. Freeman, Jerry Freeman and Rowan Freeman.
