The Parish Government Planning and Zoning Dept., issued 40 building permits with a valuation of $2,236,181 during March according to the report issued by Interim Director David Kees. The department received $16,333 in fees that included $665 for flood zone determinations, $6,025 for inspections, $7,643 for permits and $2,000 for plan reviews. Eighteen permits were issued for electrical upgrades that had no fees charged fees.
