NPSO ASSISTS ALEXANDRIA POLICE WITH STOP OF MURDER SUSPECT

As soon as Alexandria Police issued a homicide BOLO message on June 5 at approximately 2:49am, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies began deploying units to all roads entering Natchitoches Parish from the Alexandria area according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff‘s Office.
NPSO Deputies observed the suspect vehicle and stopped it on La. Hwy 1125 near Clarence in Natchitoches Parish.
The suspect was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center and later released to Alexandria and Rapides detectives.

Shooting Investigation Update
Alexandria, La. (June 5, 2021) – Alexandria Police have made two arrests in connection with the shooting that occurred in the 2500 block of 3rd Street earlier this morning.
Timira Raychelle Johnson, 20, of Natchitoches, has been charged with second-degree murder. Also, Ke’Undra Mekel Walker, 26, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
