A Campti man released June 2 on bond from the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center (NPDC) on felony drug charges is back in jail after leading Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies on a brief pursuit Tuesday, June 8.
Fredrick T. Hall, 19, of the 100 block of Carter Street, Campti, was charged with Illegal Possession of CDS Schedule IV Alprazolam, Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Reckless Operation of a Vehicle and No Drivers License. Around noon Tuesday, deputies were patrolling in the Town of Campti when they observed a red 2001 Chevrolet Sports Utility Vehicle being operated in a reckless manner on Tally Street.
Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle with emergency lights, however the driver refused and led deputies on a brief pursuit across Front, Edenborne and Woods Streets, then stopped Adkins Street. Hall was taken into custody without incident. During a search of his person incidental to his arrest, deputies discovered and seized an unlabeled medicine bottle containing a plastic bag holding 25 suspected alprazolam pills.
Hall was arrested May 13 and charged with Possession of CDS II Hydrocodone, Possession of CDS II Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS I Marijuana and Illegal Possession of a Firearm during a Felony Narcotics Offense.
He was released June 2 on $34,000 bond set by a 10th Judicial District Court Judge.
