A service to honor the life of Richard Beaudoin will be Thursday, June 17 at 2 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with Father Derek Ducote officiating. Burial will follow at Fern Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 16 at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m.
Mr. Ricky, 58, of Natchitoches, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, with his family by his side. He was born Feb. 10, 1963, in Shreveport.
He was a loving father, son, brother, and grandfather. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Ricky would spend hours playing with them. Making people laugh was one of his best qualities. Very few times he had a frown on his face, no matter where you saw him, he had a smile.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Beaudoin, and brother Michael Beaudoin.
Survivors include his father, Raymond Beaudoin Sr.; two children, Richard Beaudoin Jr. and Tabitha Bynog and husband Nick, all of Robeline; two siblings, Raymond Beaudoin Jr. and wife Amber of Haughton and Shirley Ann Currier of Natchitoches; six grandchildren, Gage, Stevan, Harlie, Kayelee, Khloe and Leelann; niece and nephews, Glenn Currier, Sylvia Currier and Dalton Beaudoin; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nephews and many friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Glenn Currier, William Cruse, Jeremy Willis and Brandon Boyett. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Boyett, Gage Willis and Stevan Brigmon.
