Police investigate threat that led to hospital placed on lockdown

On June 29 around 7:30 a.m., an officer working security at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center was notified about a threat made the previous day. The nature of the treat led to the hospital being placed on lockdown while detectives investigated

NPD Detectives located the individual who made the comments and they determined the threat was not credible. The hospital was made aware that the threat was not credible and resumed normal operations.
