Funeral services for Mr. Steve Bamburg, 70, of Natchitoches were Thursday, July 1 in the chapel of Young’s Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro at 2 p.m. Interment followed in Legion Memorial Cemetery.
Steve was born April 19, 1951, and passed from this life June 27, 2021.
Mr. Bamburg served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the war in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Ribbon and the Vietnam Campaign Ribbon for his service. Steve retired from Rowan Companies after working as an offshore crane operator.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, John Bamburg and Lula Walker Bamburg; brothers, Charlie Gray, Johnny Bamburg and James Bamburg; and sisters, Arlie Mae Bamburg, Evelyn Bamburg, Janie Bamburg and Pat Bamburg Carpenter.
Survivors are his son, Steven Bamburg; daughter, Molly Bamburg; grandchildren, Taylor Bamburg, Johnathan Bamburg and Dylan Bamburg; great-grandchild, Gauge Bamburg; brothers, Jackie Bamburg and R.L. Bamburg; and sisters, Marie Bamburg Freeman and husband Cleo, and Gayle Bamburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers were Johnathan Bamburg, Dylan Bamburg, Jacob Coleman, Tony Coleman, Andy Mize and Jacob Etheredge.
