Services for Myrtle Montgomery Frantom, 94, of Elmer will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8 in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery, Bellwood. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Frantom was a native of Bellwood for many years. She was a member of Bellwood Baptist Church, a former Sunday School teacher, a homemaker and seamstress. She loved her family and cared for her elderly parents for several years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Frantom; son, Bobby Joe Frantom; parents, Eugene and Katie Montgomery; and one sister, Marjorie Cook.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Betty Monk (Randy) of Elmer; one granddaughter, Tracie Monk Givens (Chris) of Pollock; daughter-in-law, Shawnee Frantom, of Spring, Texas; and brother-in-law, Merlon Frantom of Shreveport. Myrtle is also survived by many caring friends.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Randy Monk, Jerry Ainsworth, Wayne McFarland, Bubba Smith, Chance Smith and James Frantom.

Honorary pallbearers will be Merlon Frantom, Chris Givens and Robert Beavers. The Frantom family wishes to thank the staff of Regency House, Naomi Heights Nursing Home and Guardian Hospice for all their loving care.
