St. Mary’s Catholic School will host a “Meet and Greet” Wednesday, July 28 at 6 p.m. at the school gymnasium. The reception will give area alumni, community members and interested families the opportunity to meet principal, Jason Lachica, as well as meet the award winning Beta Club students and long time Beta Club sponsor, Michael Landry.
“We are so proud of our students. They worked together as a team and represented our school well,” said Jason Lachica. Lachica recently began his tenure as St. Mary’s principal and is excited for the new school year and getting to know the students. “My goal and primary objective as principal at St. Mary’s is to put our teachers and students in the best possible position to succeed, as well as aligning every school day to meet the mission of the school,” he said.
St. Mary’s is a Catholic, co-educational college preparatory school that has been educating students from preschool through twelfth grade since 1888. It is a ministry of the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church.
