Senior ambassadors for the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts were the first students to move into their new “home away from home” in the brand new residential hall. They moved into their dorms Thursday morning.
Also, as students move into a new residential hall, they leave behind two aging dormitories on NSU’s campus- Prudhomme Hall and Caddo Hall. The buildings hold decades of history within their walls, including these colorful tile murals in Caddo Hall. The hall will be demolished in the coming months, but plans are being made to save and display these works of art created by the late artist, Orville Hanchey.
