The Natchitoches Parish Library (NPL) partnered with local studios, stylists and the Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) to bring free haircuts to kids Monday, Aug. 9. School-aged children received a free haircut in exchange for reading or being read to while in the barber’s chair.
In addition to CLTCC, local shops participating included Kajun Jeanie Wax Studio, Southern Roots Salon, Visions Salon & Barbershop and Le’ Chic Salon.
