Plantations closed Aug. 29-30 in anticipation of Tropical Storm Ida

Oakland and Magnolia Plantations at Cane River Creole National Historical Park, will be closed on Sunday and Monday, Aug. 29-30, as Tropical Storm Ida is expected to make landfall in Louisiana over the weekend.

The plantations will remain open to visitors all day on Friday and Saturday. Word will be sent when the park reopens.
