A time to reflect and remember the life of Jefferey Lamar Grimes will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Military honors will be performed at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Jeff, 46, and a resident of Campti passed away Aug. 30, 2021. He was born in Leesville to Jackie Lamar Grimes and Jacqueline Hewett Korb Dec. 6, 1974.
Jeff proudly served in the United States Air Force and his military career consisted of numerous deployments throughout the world. He was honorably discharged after eight years of service and was a very decorated veteran for the service he provided to his country.
He was a life-long member of the Zwolle-Ebarb VFW Post 57. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Dianna Possoit Grimes; his mother, Jacqueline Korb and husband Walt; father, Jackie Grimes; daughters, Tanner Grimes and Destinee Montgomery; grandson, Malcolm Montgomery; sisters, Jennifer Chiras and Rachel Grimes Cooper; and brothers, Scott Grimes and Frederick Korb.
