Shirley, 69, and a resident of Natchitoches, passed away Aug. 31, 2021, in Winnfield. She was born Sept. 17, 1952, in Shreveport.

Shirley worked for many years as a property manager in Natchitoches.  She was a compassionate person and would sacrifice her own necessities to meet the needs of people asking for help.  With such a caring and giving personality, it is no surprise that she had many close friends throughout the course of her life.  At times she could be headstrong, but it was only because she wanted the best for her family.  She will truly be missed but always remembered as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her children, Sylvia Overbey and Glenn Currier; father, Raymond Beaudoin Sr.; grandchildren, Rebecca Tatum, Bryan Overbey and Shawn Currier; great-grandchildren, Addlynn Tuttle, Kensley Tatum and Makayla Currier; sisters, Gwen Ladell and Judy Tucker; and brothers, Raymond Beaudoin Jr. and James Beaudoin.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and four brothers.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Randal O’Bannon Jr., Dustin Urban, Keith Rhodes, Patrick Beaudoin, Bryan Keith Overbey and Flint Saffel.

Shawn Currier will be an honorary pallbearer.
