Fred retired from the US Air Force following 20 years of honored service. While serving, he was a chef, which gave him his passion for cooking that carried on throughout his life. During his time in the Air Force, he was fortunate to be able to travel to several countries including Japan, Thailand and England. He truly enjoyed his time serving his country and loved telling stories of his past adventures. Following his retirement, he loved repairing lawn mowers and tractors, watching westerns and bull riding.
Fred was a man of true faith who looked forward to having visitors, talking on the phone and having a good cup of coffee. He found pleasure in growing a garden and sharing what he grew with his family and friends. Known as “Paw Paw” to everyone he met, he had a deep love for his family. A loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
