Natchitoches Central volleyball has seen the heights of success this season. Junior varsity and freshman teams conquered the AIrline tournament Saturday. Each earned tournament champion honors. On varsity, the Lady Chiefs posted a 12-7 record and a 6-1 Division 1 District 1 record, the second spot below Ruston in the rankings.

Despite the losing effort in middle-season tournaments and early season losses to non-district foes, NCHS holds their season in the right balance heading into the last few matches of the year.
Lady Chiefs varsity volleyball’s last match against Parkway ended in a 3-0 match victory to continue their good fortunes in district play. NCHS scored 25-14, 25-15 and 25-13 against the Panthers Tuesday, Oct. 12.
Freshman Gracie Moore settled the Lady Chiefs offensively, notching 10 kills, three assists and five digs in their win. Junior Maddie Robinson scored 17 digs in her contributions to defeating Parkway.
