Streets to close overnight for hanging of Christmas lights


The City of Natchitoches announces that on Thursday, Oct. 21, the south end of Front Street will close to allow City Utility Department workers to hang Christmas lights.

Additional closures will be Monday, Oct. 25 on the north end of Front Street  and Tuesday, Oct. 26, on Church Street from Third to Front Street.

All closures are from 6-10 p.m.

The City’s Utility Department will be hanging Christmas lights on Front Street during this time and will close the street to thru traffic for the safety of the workers and motorists.
