“Christmas is a special time, and our community celebrates the season with a distinct spirit. This program allowed us to create an opportunity for the children in our region to share what the Spirit of Christmas means to them,” stated Christina Johnson, Service League President.

The contest was created to help spread the message of giving, hope, good cheer, love, understanding, helping and goodwill towards all during this holiday season. These are the feelings of Christmas that support the things that go along with this beautiful holiday like presents, children, Christmas trees, decorations, parties, cookies, candy and more.

Students were encouraged to depict what makes the season special to them and their families.  “The children did a fabulous job, and it was difficult to choose the division winners,” continued Johnson.
