Funeral services for Frances Bonnette Sandkaut will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with the Rev. James Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery, Natchitoches. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, Dec. 27 from 5-8 p.m.
Ms. Sandkaut, 90, of Alexandria, passed from this life on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her home.
Frances retired after 33 years of service with the State Office of Family Support and after retirement she would help when needed. She loved working with her patio flowers, being outdoors and decorating her home. Frances loved fishing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was well liked by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Thelma Ryder Bonnette; and brother, Maurice Bonnette.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Ben Daspit and wife Melanie of Alexandria; daughters, Rebecca Daspit Allbritton of Alexandria and Elizabeth Lemoine Freeman and husband Mark of Sevierville, Tenn.; sister, Delores B. Khoury of Longview, Texas; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her greatest love and companion was her rescue Yorkie, Peanut #4; and numerous other family and friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to her daughter Rebecca who was her caregiver for the last four years, and Angela Soileau who assisted when needed.
