The Parish Government Highway Dept. performed 172 jobs during December according to the report submitted to the Parish Council by Interim Director Dustin Hightower. The jobs cost a total of $251,510; $34,180 for labor; $133,175 for materials and $84,154 for equipment. The jobs represented 26 miles that received maintenance.

There were eight jobs in District 1 represented by Chris Paige. They cost $6,509 with $595 for labor, $4,030 for materials and $1,884 for equipment. The largest jobs were adding gravel on Cox and Lebrum roads.
There were three jobs in District 2 represented by Patsy Ward Hoover. They cost $1,216 with $332 for labor, $221 for materials and $664 for equipment.
The jobs included Good Samaritan project and coldmix patching on Riverview Drive and work done for the Village of Natchez.
There were 12 jobs in District 3 represented by Jim Kilcoyne. The total was $54,650 with $4,143 for labor, $39,846 for materials and $10,660 for equipment.
The largest jobs were on Blanchard Road with others on Laird Fletcher and Williams Avenue Extension.
