3 major commercial permits issued

Three major commercial permits and one for new home construction were among the 40 issued during January according to the report from City Planning and Zoning Director Shontrell Roque. They had a total valuation of $914,136.
Posey’s Sporting Goods obtained a permit with a valuation of $375,000 for an expansion of its store at 536 Keyser Ave.
Natchitoches Regional Medical Center obtained a permit valuation of $102,381 for construction of it 24-hour, seven-days-a week pharmacy at 601 Keyser Ave.

The hospital’s Northwestern Louisiana Cancer Center a 211 Medical Dr., obtained a $7,480 permit for a new sign.
Louisiana Eye and Laser Center obtained a permit with a valuation of $125,000 for alterations and additions at its 118 South Dr., location.
The only new home construction permit was issued to Joseph Colson at 821 Brewton with a valuation of $100,000.
