Jan. 26
3:57: Complainant went to police station in reference to a theft. She advised sometime between Jan. 6 and Jan. 7 her purse, valued at $10, was stolen from an address on St. Denis St.
7:53 p.m.: Caller requested an officer to July Street in refernce to someone breaking into his truck. Complainant stated the person broke the front driver side window and windshield. No damage estimate provided.
8:07 p.m.: Caller requested an officer to Clarence Drive in reference to a residential burglary.

Jan. 25
8:40 a.m.: Officer requested to Casa Apartments on Hazel Drive. Caller stated door was damaged sometime between 11 p.m. Jan. 24 and 8 a.m. Jan. 25. Suspect broke the dead bolt on the front door causing $500 in damages.
11:10 a.m.: Officer requested to Factory Connections on South Drive. Caller stated that sometime between Oct. 24, 2021 and Jan. 12, subject(s) removed 4,200 worth of merchandise valued at $69,000.
4:38 p.m.: Caller at White Columns, Woodyard Drive, reported an attempted residential burglary. Caller advised between 3 p.m. and call time, unknown subjects attempted to gain entry into the apartment causing $500 in damages to the door.
Jan. 24
10:06 a.m.: Person walked in to the station requesting to speak with an officer in reference to a theft. Officers advised her of proper steps to take in reference to a crime that occurred in New York City.
2:46 p.m.: A walk-in at the station reported a residential burglary on Bonnette Street. Man stated that about 2:30 p.m. an unknown subject gained entry trough the back door and took $720 worth of merchandise.
Jan. 23
12:49 p.m.: Caller on Gibson Street reported someone shot his window out. Caller advised he left the home around 5 p.m. Jan. 22 and returned around noon Jan. 23
and saw the window. Damages valued around $700.
6:55 p.m.: Caller on South Drive, Carter’s Trailer Park, advised juveniles threw bricks at the home and damaged the siding.
9:12 p.m.: Officer radioed in reference to being advised someone broke a window in a vehicle located in the parking lot of the Utility Annex Office on Second Street.
Owner was contacted who advised an unknown person broke into his vehicle via the back window and took his Glock.
12:32 a.m.: Caller on University Parkway, Cottage at Cane River, stating sometime between midnight and time of call, three male subjects gained entry into a vehicle and took a money bag containing $3,100.
Jan. 22
9:55 p.m.: Officer reported a vehicle broken into at Chateau St. Denis. Front driver side window was damaged and a pistol valued at $500 was stolen.
Jan. 21
9:01 a.m.: Caller requested an officer to Chateau St. Denis and advised around 10 p.m. the prior night, an unknown subject entered a vehicle and stole a brown wallet.
10:47 a.m.: French Market Express caller stated Imani Newman entered the business and stole 12 bottles of Stella Rose valued at $144. A second caller stated the female was back at the gas pump. Newman and Lawrence Phillips were taken into custody and transported to police dept. Newman was issued a summons for theft of goods and is banned from the business.
12:55 p.m.: 911 caller advised someone broke the front driver side window and gained entry into a vehicle on Pauline Street. No items were taken.
