Natchitoches Central girl’s powerlifting team competed at the UL Raw Invitational Saturday, Feb. 5. The ladies took first place and earned the team trophy. The best of each category are combined for a total weight lifted.From left are Nathan Lovemore. He took first place in the 132 pound bracket with a total of 1,020 pounds; Mackenzie Johnson took first place in teh 132 pound ladies brackeet with a 730 pound total and James Jackson, far right, took first in the 242 pound bracket with a total weight of 1,320 pounds. Others placing at the meet include Jayda White, Branteal Layton, Ethan Hudson, Hayden Jackson, Jeron Larry and Dillan Young with first place finishes. Taking second place in their various weight classes and events were Deitra Jackson, Alexx Gibson, Dinah Ellzey and Tatum Adeleye.
