Guest speaker was Mu Omega Zeta member Minister Jacqueline Smith. She encouraged the attendees to “stay in unity with others to gain power through others,” and referenced how Ruth and Naomi demonstrated this principle in the Bible. She added, “I have a sister that I can call on the phone. I am not in this alone.” Smith told the group that we must have a relationship with God, which alone releases power in our lives, and that the power of sisterhood, finer womanhood and unity will allow things to work for us.
