Diners looking for soul food can find it in abundance at I’ve got the Recipe soul food diner at 621 Bossier St. in Natchitoches. The restaurant is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday and some Sundays, and if there was ever a reason to follow a restaurant on Facebook, they are it. Chef Shelia Dennis shows off her vast repertoire of recipes each week with a new menu she posts on the restaurant’s Facebook page. Each day brings new courses such as smothered turkey wings, fried pork chops and Bayou Etouffee to name a few, with additional specials announced throughout the week.
