Jackson Parish Car Show Saturday, April 16


The Jackson Parish Classic & Antique Car Club will hold its 24th annual car show Saturday, April 16 at Jay Mallard Ford in Jonesboro. Classic and antique cars and trucks at least 25 years old (autos through 1997) are eligible for entry in the Classic and Antique Classes.  A Late Model judging class has been added this year.  Late model cars and trucks (1998 through 2022) are eligible for entry in this new class. First-third place trophies to be presented in 16 classes: Antique Cars; Antique Trucks; 1955, 1956, & 1957 Chevy’s; Mustangs, Sport Car; Muscle Car; Street Cruiser; Street Rod; Open Modified; and Late Model. (A class may be subdivided by years depending on the number of entries in each class) and a Best of Show Trophy.  Jackson Parish Classic & Antique Car Club members’ cars/trucks will not be judged.  Trophies will be given for oldest automobile, automobile that traveled the greatest distance and to the visiting club with the most cars entered.  Registration is from 8:30-10 a.m. Judging begins at noon. Trophy presentation will be at 2:30 p.m.  Entrance fees are $20 for the first automobile and $10 for each additional one.  The show is free to the public.   
Ronnie Causey will be playing 50s, 60s and 70s music all day. Scrap Iron BBQ will be available. 
Proceeds from the show will benefit Shriners Hospital for Children.
