NPD Theft Report for April 5-6, 2022


April 6
10:46 a.m.: theft: Complainant advised they were in the process of purchasing a vehicle from a city resident in the amount of $1,650. Vehicle owner is now refusing to give them a refund or produce the vehicle.
5:56 p.m.: theft interior of vehicle: Officer was flagged down at intersection of Third and Church Streets. Spoke with male who advised between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. someone gained entry into his truck but he doesn’t know what was taken.
April 5
9:12 a.m.: theft: Converters on vans belonging to Freedom Life Church were stolen between March 16-20. Approximate total value is $920.
1:18 p.m.: theft: Complainant at Family Dollar on Texas Street advised a female should be banned for theft by shoplifting a $2 lip gloss.
