21 couples apply for marriage licenses in March


Twenty-one couples obtained marriage licenses at the Natchitoches Clerk of Court’s office during March.
Licenses cost $33.50, in cash, and are good for 30 days. There is a 24-hour waiting period after they are issued. To get a license, you must present a valid, photo ID and certified birth certificate. If divorced, you must present a certified judgment of divorce.
