Juvenile arrested in connection with Historic District burglaries


Natchitoches Police Department responded to the 400 block of Jefferson Street Monday, May 9 at 5:36 p.m. in reference to several residential burglaries and a vehicle burglary. While officers were still in the area collecting information, they were notified of a burglary in progress in the 100 block of South Williams Avenue. Officers set up a perimeter and located a juvenile in the Dixie Plaza Shopping Center.
The juvenile was placed under arrest for two counts of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling, Attempted Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and Simple Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.
