NPD Theft Report – May 6-10, 2022


May 10
12:37 p.m.: Male went into police station to report an unknown subject took his MMP20 black Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol.
4:06 p.m.: Dollar General on Keyser called in reference to a customer leaving with a shopping cart full of items.
May 8
12:07 p.m.: Stines called in reference to a b/m, wearing an orange shirt who left on foot after attempting to take some merchandise including a drill set and bit set valued at $259. He left the items at the door.
1:04 p.m.: Caller on Dixie Street wanted an officer to explain to her boyfriend tha although he brought her a gun, he can’t take it back.
6:45 p.m.: 911 caller on Second Street stated an unknown suspect gained entry into a vehicle and removed a bottle of aspirin valued at $1.50.

May 7
4:02 p.m.: A deputy reported a complainant at Tractor Supply in reference to theft. Complainant stated a ball was taken from her vehicle. Officer reviewed security footage. No theft was shown to have occurred at that location.
12:55 a.m.: Caller stated a window was broken out of a Jeep in front of Magnolia Place Apartments. Caller stated sometime between 1 p.m. May 6 and time reported an unknown subject broke the window out, valued at $300, and took a brown leather bag and some other items.
May 6
10:24 a.m.: Complainant stated a suspect opened a credit card in her name and placed unauthorized charged of $400.
12:52 p.m.: Caller at The Quad apartments on University Parkway advised his PS5 was taken. Value was $1,000.
4:23 p.m.: Complainant at police station stated an unknown suspect gained entry into his residence on Woodyard Drive and removed multiple items.
6:53 p.m.: Caller on Julia Street stated his GrillMaster grill valued at $60 was being stolen from his carport by two b/f subjects in a green 2005 Tahoe.
