Krewe royalty was joined by family and friends along with members of the Northwest Louisiana Mardi Gras Association (NWLMGA) for the celebration. As a constituent member of NWLMGA, the court will participate in coronations, parades, fairs, festivals, balls and public service projects for the community at large. Over a dozen parties and activities (pre and regular season) are planned for the reigning revelers. Cathy Chester, 2023 ball captain, described the Krewe royalty as “an exciting, hard-working court, ready for the season.”
